Naturals Vox Box Reviews...

I can't even tell you guys how excited I was to be chosen for the Naturals Vox Box.This is my first Vox Box from Influenster. Basically what the site does is provide the products in theme based kits free of charge in exchange for you honest reviews of the products. Find out all about them from http://www.influenster.com/.
My specific box contained:
The Original Dish Drying Mat
Eboost
CleanWell Hand Sanitizer Wipe
Geodeo Deodorant
Nectesse Sweetener
&
Desert Essence Coconut Shine & Refine Lotion

First up we have The Geodeo Natural Deodorant Plus Detox Complex:
 Voxbox ad:
Reach a new level of purity, keeping you fresh for 24-hour odor protection. GEODEO Natural Deodorant Plus Detox Complex is a naturally-devirved, breakthtough eco-technology, specially formulated to be safe for your body and your world.
Product can be purchased at drugstore.com for 5.99.

The product is made from bamboo and aloe extracts , Vitamin E, Volcanic minerals, Icelandic algae, & Enzymes.

Ok so this deodorant smells awesome! I do love it goes on clear and stays clear so it does not get on your clothing. It worked ok for a day I was just lounging at home but even then I would not say it is a 24 hour product. I tried it one day applying it before my workout and it did nothing to help the sweat or odor. I also applied it after the workout but it did not help. It is also a little tough to apply. I mean you use it like a normal deodorant but you have to make many swipes in order to transfer it from the product to your body.

PROS: Smell, Goes on clear and stays that way
 CONS: Not good for exercise
Final Verdict: Not for someone with an active lifestyle.

Next up we have The Original Dish Drying Mat:
 Vox Box ad:
The Original Dish Drying Mat is a unique, laminated design that combines a thin layer of foam between two layers of high quality, super absorbent microfiber for a new dish washing experience that conserves energy and paper towels by air drying, and saves water by hand-washing.
The small size retail for 4.99 and the extra large $7.99. They can be purchased Bed Bath & Beyond

The first thing I tried in the box was this dish drying mat. For one thing is looks waaaay better on the counter than a towel. It dries super fast. It can ever be washed! It was a little small for me but you can buy a larger size.

PROS: Dries super fast. Looks Nice.
CONS: Size. Though the larger one is better.
Final Verdict: I use it everyday and even bought the larger size!

Desert Essence Coconut Shine & Refine Lotion:
 Vox Box ad:
Bring out your hair's natural beauty and texture as you nourish it with Desert Essence Coconut Shine & Refine Lotion. Cactus, Agave, Vitamin E, Coconut Oil & Extract, work together to keep your hair looking it's best!
This product can be purchased from the company's website desertessence.com for 9.99.

Taken from the site...
                                     • Infuses hair with moisture and restores healthy shine
                                                                 • Strengthens hair
                     • Helps smooth damaged hair and reduce frizz without weighing hair down
NEW! Bring out hair’s natural beauty and texture as your nourish it. Avena Strigosa Seed Extract (black oat), blended with Coconut Oil and Extract, moisturizes and helps repair damaged hair. Yucca Cactus and Aloe add volume and shine. Oleic acid-rich safflower oil and Panthenol quickly penetrate and smooth, without weighing hair down.

This is perfect for those dreaded flyaways. I love to wear my hair straight and they always keep my look from being as polished as I like. The Lotion smelled fab and didnt feel heavy of greasy. I use the lotion on my hair when it is wet. Added bonus is that is gave my hair a bit of shine. Only drawback was by the end of the day the product had dried out and turned a bit white. Not all over but still.

PROS: Smells great, Smooths Flyaways all day, Non Greasy
CONS: Product dried and was visible at the end of the day
Final Verdict: Product does what it says it will. However due to the only con of the product I do not know if I will buy it again.

Eboost:
This product makes me feel great all day long. Packed with vitamins I feel refreshed and fab. There are many great flavors to choose from too!

Final Verdict: Use it in the morning for a vitamin boost that lasts all day

Nectresse:
From Voxbox:
NECTRESSE™ Natural No Calorie Sweetener is what you’ve been searching for—100% natural, zero calories per serving and the rich, sweet taste of sugar!

Ok so I am not much for Sugar substitutes. The product was fine for what it was but I just dont like them.

Final Verdict: Just not for me

Clean Well Hand Sanitizer wipes:
From Voxbox:
CleanWell believes in eliminating germs safely. That's why they developed their patented formulation of natural thyme oil that kills germs yet contains no harsh chemicals. CleanWell truly is a better way to clean.

Ok so I hadnt tried many Han Sanitizer wipes other than the ones from restaurants that leave your hands feeling sticky & Dry. Unlike those wipes these had a pleasant scent and where not sticky at all. Perfect for a picnic out or the lunchbox at school.

 Final Verdict: Great product!

Disclaimer: I received each product complimentary for testing purposes from Influenster.

Butter London Knackered Nails and review....

Ok Really...First Ulta has a day long Bogo sale on these...I got Knackered & Lovely Jubbly. But not a week later Coterie opens and has them as the opening sale. With the early sign up code I got 3 Butter London Polishes (Knackered, Bluey, & West End Wonderland) & A top coat for only $16.80!! So yea...Be prepared for the Butter London invasion LMAO!

In my mind I really think that Knackered should be called Sugar Plum Fairy LOL. It is a super light and shimmery purple with just a slight hint of green thrown in there...It really isnt noticable but you can see it from the bottle...
Now usually I prefer a fully opaque polish but I really loved that is is slightly Translucent. I used 3 coats of polish here. There was no streaking at all even though it is a shimmer polish. It did not smell bad and it dried super fast.

And in case you were not already sold Butter London is a 3 free product!! It means it is Non toxic! They usually retail for $14 a bottle. I know I know I always thought my limit was 10 for most polishes but I would make and exception any day for this awesome product!

OPI German-icure nails...

OK Seriously...Is this not a great fall color! When I got this I was a little skeptical cause I am not a brown kinda girl and there is a lot of bronze tones to this polish. While it might not have been the color I thought it would it looks just awesome on! It is a dark red/bronze color. Of course it went on super smooth and had no streaks. It took to coats to get to this color and it was fully opaque.
Here is the bottle shot...The pics online always seem to show it a bit redder than it is...

And just because I ended up adding 1 coat of NYX Girls polish in Dorothy over it. I do have to say though this polish seemed to take FOREVER to dry and even once it was dry to the touch it still had a gummy feeling for at least a few hours :(

Albino Protest shadow look...& Review

I used Smashbox Photo Op Primer Under my eyes. Then I Used Urban Decay Primer potion on my lids. The dark Shadow is Urban Decay Loose Pigment in Protest (See my review below this.) Above that and on the inside corners I used Kat Von D True Romance in Albino from her Love & Fury Palette. The liner is Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Liner in Junkie. I Finished with 2 coats of Maybelline Lash Stiletto in black.

Ok so I am sure by now everyone knows I am a bit of an Urban Decay Junkie. The palettes always have perfect pairing and the liner colors are awesome. Needless to say I was super excited to try this Loose Pigment In Protest I got the other day. First issue I had was the color. In the bottle it is a kick ass army type green color. as you can see it looks a lot more black once you put it on. Another problem I had was the brush. It is not made for blending at all. So I thought ok I won't use it and tried another brush. Only one issue...The darn brushes won't fit down in the tube. So I reluctantly use the brush in the tube. Let me tell you this has to be the messiest pigment I have ever used!! with just a tiny swipe I had shadow all over my cheeks!  I even tried using shadow shields and cause of the design of the brush I still ended up with shadow under those. The only good part is like all Urban Decay shadow it did wear all day and after a ton of blending it may not have been the color I was looking for but it did look pretty good. So sadly I would not recommend this product. But if you are looking for a great army green by them try the normal Shadows in maybe Bender or Mildew...That's what I am going to do!

My Dark Magic Shadow Look

Why Oh Why did this have to be a limited edition line?
Under my eyes and on my lids I used Smashbox Photo op primer.
On My lids to slightly above the crease I used MAC Mineralize Eyeshadow from the Venomous Villains Collection in My Dark Magic. Personally I just swept my shadow brush across the whole shadow but it is really a duo. Both shade have a black base with either purple/pink or blue shimmery tones. It really does just glide on but it can use a little blending at the edges so they are not super severe.
Above that I used MAC Venomous Villains collection shadow in Her Alter Image. It looks like a dark purple but really is quite a bit lighter. I used just about a brush width of that starting just over the My Dark Magic Shadow.
Then under my Brow Line I used Urban Decay Polyester Bride.
On My Waterline I used a black liner then under that I used Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Liner in Ransom.
I finished with 2 coats of Dior Extase Mascara In Black.

Baked Evidence Eyeshadow...

Ok so for this look I actually used a sample card that came with my last Urban Decay order. I started by using a Smashbox Photo Op Primer under my eyes.
On My lids I used Urban Decay Primer Potion.
So on the outside Half of JUST my eyelid I used Urban Decay Evidence. I only brought this up to the crease since I was using such a light color with it. I also used a line brush and applied this under the outside half of my waterline. Now usually I am not too much for blue shadows but this one is a super dark Navy color and it is fab!
For the inside corner and just above the crease I used Urban Decay Half Baked. I used a liner brush to bring the color around the inside corner of my eye all the way to meet the blue I had already applied.
Just under my brow bone I added Urban Decay Polyester Bride.
Finished with a Sparkly Black Wet N Wild Color Icon Pencil & Maybelline Lash Stiletto in black.
