April Ipsy bag....

Ok so this month's Ipsy theme was Pretty in Pink. My first thought...Ugh. I am not big on pink at all. But the pinks where subtle enough and I just when with a simple natural look....

The bag was a white canvas with pink vinyl trim. I actually saw someone who had done some cool art on their bag and it really is a great Idea. I think I am gonna whip out the markers and glitter and go to town on this plain bag.

Next is the Sation Nail Lacquer for Ipsy. The color I got was of Corset I'll Call you.

This super pretty pink was just a bit to sheer for me on its own so I added tini Beauty polish in Chi Chi at the tips for a bit of a french Mani look. (Yes I know they are not perfectly straight but as I said this was last minute. Next time I will use it under the Sation Polish Instead.) Good news is the polish dries fast and wears FOREVER. Seriously...I wore this mani for a week almost 2 with very little chipping!

Then we have the Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Renewal. Oddly I havent tried this product yet but it is from a great brand so I am sure it will be great. Plain and Simple...Florida, Summer, Heat, Humidity. My Hair will be in a pony for at least the next 3 months LMAO.

Then we have Mica Beauty Cosmetics Shimmer Powder in Earth. On me personally this is almost a match for my skin so it really looks just like a bit of shimmer. Not a usual look for me but I love it....

Finally the was Be A Bombshell blush in Sweet Cheeks. Now I have never been much of a blush Girl (Us Creepy girls like our pale complexions.) This really is a great color. It was just enough to give me a little flush on my pale skin tone.

For the rest of the overall look I also used Loreal Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream In Fair, Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in Translucent, Urban Decay Original Primer Potion, Urban Decay Supercurl Mascara, & Jouer Essential Lip Enhancer.

Butter London HRH & The Black Knight....

Ok so when Ulta had these bad boys on sale a few weeks ago for $9 each I Hadd bite. This time I bought HRH Which is a Shimmery Violet and The Black Knight which is Multi Color Glitter in a black base. Now all the reviews I Read said the Black Knight was kinda sheer but after trying it out I am going to try it on it's own to see of I can get full coverage. I Used 1 coat of the Black Knight over 1 coat of HRH. Usuaslly I would used a top coat but since I was going out I didnt have time so I was chipped in a day or so.
Here is the 1 coat HRH alone....
And with 1 coat of The Black Knight over it....
I did NOT have the issue I was reading about the polish being gloppy but again I did use just one coat. I would HIGHLY recommend some sort of top coat as after just a day without I started chipping. The HRH Went on smooth and even where the Black Knight does have a bit of a rough finish. Would I buy them again? Most Certainly. Actually to date they are the ONLY Butter London polishes I have really been over the moon about!

Nailtini Champagne Brunch Mixer & Topper Collection....

So this cute set came with 4 7ml bottles. Left to right we have Kir Royale, Classic Rita, Tahiti Breeze, & Chi Chi.

Of course you know I hadda try out Tahiti Breeze first. It is an awesome Blue color with silver shimmer. I used 2 coats for full coverage. Dry time was shortened due to the fact I Used the Dry Martini Drying Spray as well. Not usually a fan of these cause they don't really dry but this one worked fast and with no mess.

Next I Decided to TRY and mix things up a bit using both Kir Royale & Chi Chi. I Had to use 3 coats of each polish for full coverage.
And since I didnt like the ridge was so pronounced I Decided hey...The package says you can layer them right? WRONG!!! This is what I got when I tried to put just one coat of the Chi Chi over the Kir Royale...FYI...This is not cleaned up cause I hated the look and took it right off. I just wanted everyone to see these DO NOT work layered over one another....

Finally I Have the one I didnt like much in the bottle but was in love with on Classic Rita. It is a pale Yellow shimmer polish. I used 2 coats of this perfect for Spring shade...
