Champions World Resort in Orlando...What A Joke!

Ok so on a recent trip to Orlando the hubby and I decided to save a little cash by staying at one of the Disney Good Neighbor hotels. Since we had our whole trip booked with concerts and such we wouldnt really be in the room that that much anyway. We figured since it was endorsed by Disney it would be decent right? We could not have been more wrong.
The fact that this place calls its self a resort is laughable. All of the "Amenities" offered either Where not what was said or did not exist at all. And the ones that where there closed by 10 pm ...No joke. We got back to our room early and thought we would check out the "nature trail and beach" and it was closed and pad locked. Same goes for the area they where calling the sports field (It had a cracked basketball court and what was supposed to be a baseball diamond I think. Oh and some soccer goals.) So we figure we will change and try to go to the pool and "Jacuzzi". Nope thats pad locked too. Now according to the site they have  3 pools on property but there where only 2. The Laundry room they claim to have... A coin op washer and dryer in the walkway outside the rooms. The fitness room...Didn't Exist. The game room...2 Pinball machines and 1 shooting game, 2 of which where out of order. The tv in the room...ants when we turned it on. Upon further inspection hubby checked the cable cord only to find out it looked like it was torn from the wall.
Anyway lemme back track just a little. We checked in around 4:00 on 3/19 only to be told the water was off from 3:30p-4:30p. Ok that sucks but things happen so we didnt say too much. 6:30 roll around and we need to get ready to House Of Blues and there is still no running water. (It did come on about 10 minutes after that but still.) Also at check in we ask about the "Free Disney Shuttle Service" the hotel offers. We get told the shuttle goes to Disney at 8:30am and returns at 9p. WTF?? Not really a shuttle service then is it? Thank god we did take our vehicle with us or we woulda been paying out the ass for cab fare :( And the store and gift shop that is there...It is only open from 7am-9am and 5pm-7pm. What is the point of it even being there! The "Restaurant" in the hotel existed...but all they served was a breakfast buffet til 10am. Yep we looked..and saw rubber looking eggs, burnt bacon, greasy sausage, and maybe 3 types of fresh fruit. And it was $13 a person. Thank god there was a Perkins right down the street!
Now let's talk service...this place was insane. When rushing into the gift shop to buy waters during the whole 5 minutes I actually saw it open the clerk was super rude. Plus there was a $5 minimum purchase. Ok so I got 2 waters marked at $1.79 which is a crazy price but we needed water, and a box of Cheez-its marked $2.19. Went to the register and some how AFTER my card was run it cost me $11 and change. Ok I am no math whiz but the only way to get a number like that is if they actually CHARGED me $5 to use my card on top of my purchases! When I said something to the clerk all I got was no thats your total and was refused a detailed copy of my receipt (The one I got only had a total on it) Because that is not possible with the system.
Oh and when I tried to get towels for the desk....I was told we don't have any now come back later. 3 hours later when I went back they still didnt have towels. And on the 2nd trip I had to stand at the front desk watching the clock for 20 minutes while the employees finished having a conversation away from the desk.
Oh an BTW...This hotel does not have covers/duvets of any sort on the beds. I have never in my life stayed somewhere that only has sheets and those cheap blankets on the beds!
Anyway...I took photos so yall could see some of what I was talking  about. I seriously hope this place gets shut down. It is a shame to have the Disney name attached to it in any way, shape, Or form.

The supposed restaurant hours according to the hotels own site...

The kids play area as show on the site...
The actual play area...

The large covered pool according to the site...
The actual pool area...

The Nature Area & Beach according to the site...
The actual area...
Oh and the nature trails they talked about....
Our lovely coverless beds...

And the bathrooms...warning this is kinda gross...
This is the pic on the site....
The sink was outside the bathroom and it was only 1/3 that size but that wasnt the real problem...This was...
The tub had footprints in it...Not sure if you can tell from the pic....
And the worst part of all...I should not have to clean the toilet in a hotel room to use it...

Awesome Indie Alert: Mustache Lacquer!

Just a quick post for an awesome indie shop on Etsy called Mustache Lacquer. I got 2 polishes from her awesome new Vampire collection.
Believe it or not you can pick up the full 5 piece collection of .25ml bottles for only $20 plus shipping!!
The Vampire Collection
- Impulsive: This polish has a very warm purple jelly base, and is sprinkled with bright sky blue glitter in two sizes.
- Decadent : This polish is a semi-sheer rich red base with lots of gold shimmer - both bright yellow gold and dusky orange gold - mixed in.
- Enduring: The polish is a greyed rose color with a silvery, subtle scattered holo shimmer.
- Smolder: This polish is a dusky greyed brown full of fine, golden shimmer in yellow gold and bright orange flakes.
- Abomination: This black polish is absolutely chock full of glitter - silver in several sizes, plus iridescent hexes.

I picked up Abomination & Decadent to try out. Individually the polishes are $5 plus shipping. Basically if you buy the collection it is like getting one free!
Seriously...How awesome are these little bottles!!
Ok so I am gonna have to do another post for Abomination when I get a chance but these polishes where so perfect together I just had to use them together!!

First I used 2 coats of Decadent. Its a great dark red jelly base that is pretty and nice sheer with just one coat but builds to a gorgeous Blood red. It has a gold micro glitter too. I used 2 coats....

Seriously....This is my new favorite red. My only complaint.....I MUST have a full size bottle and she does not carry them :(

Ok so I tried something I been meaning to try for awhile now and for some reason never got around to it. I tried going with a 2 tone sponge applied mani. So please forgive me if it's a little off but like I said I really wanted to use the colors together.

I sponged on one coat of Abomination at the tips of my nails and let it dry. Then I sponged on a second coat. Abomination is a high shine black base with a fine silver glitter and small iridescent hexes. It has a very slight texture alone but if you apply maybe 2 coats of top coat it would disappear if you wanted it to.

See what I mean!! They compliment each other perfectly!! Abomination will have full coverage you can only see red through it since I sponge applied. I added 1 coat of Butter London P.D. Quick topcoat.

So my verdict...I LOVE this collection!! You know me I am obsessed with anything dark. I am thinking I need to go back and pick up Implusive  soon too! Oh and the shop owner is awesome! She was in constant contact and I knew exactly when I would receive my order. Now that is awesome Customer service right there!

Tone Petal Soft Body Wash Review...

I just loved this body wash! It smells amazing like fresh flowers but not in an overpowering kind of way. I felt and smelled fresh and clean all day long. The nourishing formula left my skin feeling silky smooth and did not irritate my legs right after shaving like some body washes do.

*I relieved this product free as a sample from BzzAgent*

Creepy Cracked Porcelain Doll Makeup

So yea....I was a little bored today and I had been toying with the idea of doing another full Halloween/Horror type makeup. Not gonna do a full tutorial on this one but I did take a few pics along the way. Nothing special this time it is all just makeup ;)
Here are my supplies...
I started by mixing 2 of my all time favorite liquid foundations to get the kinda color I wanted. I mixed MAC Face & Body foundation in White (This was a seasonal item. It was from the Rick Baker 2013 Halloween line.) & Lancome Teint Miracle in Ivorie 2 (c). Keep in mind I have a very fair complexion so you may need a darker base color. The Lancome is a usual for me. I used this all over my face & neck including my lips and eyes.
Next I brushed on a loose powder all over. I used MAC Set Powder in Invisible. It's a nice white color. (Again this is from the Rick Baker Halloween collection 2013.)
For my cheeks I used The Balm Stainiac. This is a really cool product. It is made for cheeks and lips in a highly blendable formula. I usually use it as a lip stain but today we all know dolls have those nice red circles as cheeks. I used a very thick layer and blended it with my fingers.

Next I used a simple white Wet N Wild pencil to define my eyes. I wanted them to look very large when photographed so instead of just lining my water line and under the eyes I extended the liner to the natural crease under my lower lash line.

And here is where I started forgetting to take pics LOL. Next I used a Starlooks Kohl Eye pencil in Obsidian to make the "holes" and cracks in the porcelain. I started by drawing out a few "sharp" looking shapes and filling them in...
I used the same pencil for  the rest of the work. I lined under my Faux lashline I made with the whit pencil. I drew out the "cracks" for the chips in the porcelain. Next I used my Sephora + Pantone Universe shades of nature palette. (I freaking love this palette...all the colors go so well together!) Using a small shadow brush I used color 19-4205 to "highlight" the cracks and chips.
For my eyes I Used color 14-2808 just above the white liner on my lid, 17-3911 in the crease, & 12-1310 to almost the brow bone.
I added 2 sets of false lashes...True Or False brand Medusa lashes on the top, Ardell 120 Demi lashes on the bottom. On the top lashes I used MAC Zoom Flash mascara.
I used Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on liner in Desperation to create my freckles.

And finally for my lips I used TWC Lip Pencil in Laia (Just really to draw out the shape I wanted) and Be A Bombshell Lip Gloss in Hot Mess.
And here is what it all looks like...

So yea...Kinda had fun with this spur of the moment. Could I do better...Probably. But hey...Now I know what I can improve and how to do it right! I really do hope you enjoyed this overall though. If you have any makeup ideas and such you would like to see me try let me know what they are. I am kinda falling in love with creating crazy fun makeup using just everyday products.
