Magical Shadows From My Pretty Zombie

Ok so this company is fast becoming one of my favorite indies. With amazing shades and fun names I can't get enough. All the shadows I have tried have amazing coverage and don't crease or fade. Be sure and check out the etsy store: My Pretty Zombie.

This time around I have 5 new colors:
 Top to bottom they are:
Bettie-This is an amazing light teal color packed with loads of shimmer.
Epistaxis-is a dark red matte color
Goth Mary Poppins-This is a black base With purple tones and tons of blue & purple shimmer.
Murder-As the name suggests this is a kinda rusty red that resembles a true bloody color.
New Age Dolls-is a dusky grey with a slight shimmer.

I guess I forgot to take a pic the day I wore the Bettie shadow:( But here are the rest....

For this look I used Urban Decay Primer Potion, My Pretty Zombie Goth Mary Poppins, Urban Decay Mariposa Palette in Rockstar & Haight, Urban Decay Shadow in Polyester Bride, Urban Decay 24/7 glide on liner in radium, & Urban Decay Big Fatty Mascara.

August Ipsy bag....

How freakin awesome is this months bag!! I just love the purple with the gold print! And the thing I was most excited about was the Urban Decay Revolution lipstick in 69. The color is great and it wears well for hours! It also had a Micheal Todd Pumpkin face mask, Nailtini polish in Mai Tai, Mica Beauty Shimmer Powder in Bronze, & Pixi Lash Booster Mascara.

First off I tried the mask. Not sure if I really dug it. The pumpkin smell was not that good and I love pumpkin usually. The mask burned a bit while it was on my skin. I didnt like the coverage it gave either. I like full coverage from a mask and this was just a strange texture and didnt go on very even. My skin did feel slightly softer after washing it off but I dont think I will be using it again....

Next is the amazing lipstick from Urban Decay. This is from the new Revolution line. The color I got was called 69. It is the perfect classic red!! I wore this out to a movie and dinner with a friend and even though we had snacks at the theater and dinner it still looked freshly applied!

And a couple of looks using the Mica Beauty Shimmer Powder in Bronze & Pixi Mascara.

For this look I used LA Splash Eyeshadow base, Mica Beauty Shimmer Powder in Bronze, Bombshell Liquid Eyeliner pen in Onyx, & Pixi Lash Booster Mascara.

July Ipsy bag....

OMG...I sooooo loved this bag! Not only did it include one of my favorite brands but yall know I love me some Eyeshadow!

Ok here is the loot we got this month. It all came in a cute little pink waterproof bag perfect for keeping everything safe at the beach!

I got:
Big Sexy Hair Soy Renewal Beach Spray. This stuff was kinda awesome. It gave me the perfect beachy waves. Alas the spray party of the bottle broke the first time I used it so I didnt get a photo of how awesome it looked cause I only got to use it once :(
Next is a little mini shadow palette from BH Cosmetics. The shades all complemented each other perfectly!
Then I got a sample Benetint lip & Cheek stain for Benefit Cosmetics. I been a fan of this brand for ages but they are higher end and this is not a product I was willing to take a risk on. Boy was I wrong! Just a little dab gave me the perfect flush all day!
Then there is a Pop beauty Lip Crayon. Now as you all know I am not huge on lippy products but this I liked. It went on with just a touch of color and it didnt feel like I had any product on.
Finally I got a little thing of Coola Sunscreen. I used this on my face for Mayhem Fest (Put it this way 100 degree temps and the festival was from 12p-12a). Shocked beyond belief I did not burn all day!!!

Here are my shadow looks for this bag....
Also for this look I Used Urban Decay Primer Potion, St Germain Paris Eyeliner in Purple Shimmer, & Revlon Lash Potion Mascara.

And for this look I used Urban Decay Primer Potion, Physcians Formula black Soft eyeliner, Bombshell Liquid Liner pen in Onyx, & Urban Decay Big Fatty Mascara.

Look #2 I had a huge amount of problems with so bear with me on the pics. I Absolutely HATED these lashes! I hated the glue most of all but they had all kinds of issues. First off the "glue" actually seemed to be some form black liquid latex. Now for anyone who knows me I am Latex obsessed when it comes to fashion but it just not work that well as a lash adhesive for me. I had to try 3 or 4 times to get the lash to actually adhere someone properly. Matter of fact in trying to get the 2nd lash on I said fuck it and ripped them both off which caused more problems. Second the lashes where very frail. The minute I went to pull the lash off the packaging I lost a whole section of last. It didnt affect the use at all just wanted to put that out there that pieces will come off in the process. Finally when I got tried of trying to deal with these flimsy cruddy things and just took them off it took me days to try and get all the latex off my lashes and face even. For some reason it just kept stinking on and even tried to hide in random places in my pores when I did try to clean it. I washed my face multiple time and used makeup remover. Now if it was just latex any oil based remover should have taken it right off so they must use something else in the glue. This clearly is not a product I will ever recommend. That all said I LOVED the Cailyn eyeliner in purple! I have used this brand before but this color was outta this world! It goes and smooth and wears well until removed. Keep in mind most of these were taken after my fight with the lashes so please ignore any of the black lingering :(

This is with the lash I managed to get to stay in place:

This is my complete look after I removed the damn lashes that didn't want to stick for shit....

  What I used:
Urban Decay primer potion
Korres Eyeshadow in Plum
Urban Decay Stardust Shadow in Retrograde
Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Polyester Bride
Cailyn Gel Eyeliner in Purple
Urban Decay Big Fatty Mascara
