Manicure Mondays...Gothy Glitters

Ok so some of you already got this down but yes...I love being a little goth chicky. But that doesn't mean I don't love my glitters! I just tend to like em a little darker is all. Here are a few Black Based glitter polishes I am obsessed with right now...

First up:
MAC Everything That Glitters...
So I hadda go with a bottle shot on this one cause I couldn't get it to pick up all the beautiful colors once it was on my nails. This is a black base polish With Bronze, Magenta, & Turquoise fine glitters. I used to coats and had full coverage. No problems with Dragging either. I would definitely recommend adding a top coat cause once dry it looked just a little dull. Unfortunately I started to chip around the edges after just 2 days but to be fair I am in the process of moving right now. That said this glitterbomb is certainly a must have!
Next we have Wet N Wild Rest In Pieces.
This is part of the 2012 Fantasy Makers Halloween Collection so you should still be able to track it down for now. I used 2 coats of this black based polish with superfine purple glitter and no top coat. Great part is after 2 days of packing I am still good to go!!

Finally just a random polish this week...
Julep Polish in Nora....
This polish came in my November It girl Box. It is a Matte Suede finish polish and I was not Disappointed with the look. It is actually a bit more purple than the photos show. I used 2 coats here. It dries super fast too! Now I rarely use a topcoat and that was a HUGE mistake with this polish! Literally I put it on after dinner one night, Did just the dinner dishes, & The next morning I have huge Chips Everywhere :( The box did come with another polish and top coat though so once the craziness of moving is over I will try that out and let you know if it helps. I really did love the polish so hopefully the top coat will prolong the wear.

Shadowy Looks...

Ok so with my move here next week I figured I would just post these all together cause I got so much going on right now. Just a couple of Shadow looks from this week....
For this looks I used Urban Decay Primer Potion, The Manic Panic in PsychoDrama, & Rimmel Lash Accelerator. I used the Primer potion on my lids from lash to brow. Then I used the white cream shadow from lash to brow as well. I used the black pressed shadow on the outside half of my lid to just above the crease. The purple Pressed shadow I used on the inside of my eye and to just under the brow bone. I also used it under my eye. Then I applied the black cream liner both above and below my lashes. Finished with the rimmel mascara.

For this simple look I used Urban Decay Primer Potion, MAC Fresh Green Mix Mineralize Shadow, Wet N Wild Color Icon Silver Liner, & Rimmel Lash Accelerator.

Finally I have what I think is my favorite look right now ;) I used Fyrianne Pixie Epoxy as my base, Fyrianne Shadows in Sultry Samhain & Purgatory, Urban Decay Shadow in Cherry, Kiss EZ Lashes, Caylin Gel Eyeliner, & Dior Extase Mascara.

Manicure Mondays....

So this week starts the first ever Manicure Monday for the girls of Chroma Class. To mark the occasion I decided to take your through some of the looks I did this week too!!

This look is from My Julep October Maven box. I get the it girl box. The base is 2 coats of Leslie which is a fab black with silver sparkle polish. Then for the accent nail I used Glenda. It is a silver crackle polish.
For my mid week mani I was feeling the purple. I used 2 coats Mary Kay Polish in Intensity. Unfortunately I had some serious dragging issues with this polish so I didnt bother with a pic. Over that I applied 1 coat of Daring Digits polish in Flying Purple People eater. It is a great Purple and silver glitter topcoat. It has great coverage, dry time, & No smell. I love it!!
Finally today I am still on a purple kick! I started with 2 coats Wet N Wild Wild Shine polish in Eggplant frost. I am sure most of you know by now I have a love/hate thing with Wet N Wild. I hate that it takes FOREVER to dry but I love it is super cheap and the colors are great...
Over this I added Sephora by OPI Crackle polish in Purple glitter. I am kinda digging the way the glitter added a sort of matte look somehow...

Couple Shadow looks from this week...

For this look I used Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy as my base. The shadows I used were Fyrinnae in Purgatory, Ulta in Flirty, & Urban Decay in Cherry. Bonne Belle Black Ink kohl eyeliner & Rimmel Lash Accelerator complete the look.

This day I decided to play with some oldies I had laying around.
I started with Urban Decay Primer Potion as a base. I used a darker purple MAC shadow but the label was worn and I cant read it. Next I used Medusa's Makeup shadow in Electro Purple but as you can see it is more pink. Under the brow I used urban Decay Cherry. Under my eye I used rimmel exaggerate liner in purple Shock. Finished with Rimmel Lash Accelerator mascara.

Sugar Skull Makeup...

What I Used:
White Cream Halloween Makeup
White Powder foundation I got at Hot Topic
120 Color Palette
NYX Silver Glitter Liquid Eyeliner
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Liner in Radium
Bonne Belle Kohl liner in Black Ink
Rimmel exaggerate liner in purple shock
Rimmel Lash Accelerator mascara
Urban Decay Primer Potion
Cailyn creme Eyeliner

I started by applying the white cream makeup to my entire face and neck....
Next I applied the white powder foundation to set the cream makeup...
Using a blush brush I applied a dark gray shadow in the hollows of my cheekbones down all the way around my chin...
Next for my eyes I applied urban decay primer potion from the lashes to my brows. I used a typical shadow brush to ring all the way around my eyes with a heavy black shadow.
I used the Bonne Belle Black Ink liner on my waterline. Apply 2 coats of Rimmel Lash Accelerator mascara.
Using the pencil I added the black on my nose....
Using the black liner I drew out the outline of the flower on my chin...
Then filled in each petal with a super pigmented color...
Using the kohl I drew out the flowers around my eyes...
Next I Used the kohl on my forehead for the spiderweb and gem...
And at this point I spaced and stopped taking pics :( But from here....
Using one of your bright shadows fill in the flowers around your eyes.
I used a purple to fill in the "gem". Then on top of that I added the silver glitter liner.
Using the Purple Shock eyeliner I added dots around the petals of the flowers.
Using the black liner pencil I drew out the curl across my cheeks.
At this point I used the Cailyn creme liner to go back over all my black lines to make em pop.
Then I drew a line with the kohl liner from each corner of my mouth and added vertical lines across my lips.
Using the glitter liner I went over the black lines on my cheeks as well as the lines of the spiderweb.
Finally I used the Urban Decay Liner in radium to draw out the dots around the curls on my cheeks.

Bride To Be Vox Box and review....

Ok so first off lemme say this box was AWESOME!! Vox Box Is a sampling program from Influenster.com. I get awesome products for free to try and review. This box included Kiss everEZlashes, Dream Water, A Card For Ivy Date, Rescue Gum, Schwarzkopf Professionals BC Repair Rescue Shapoo, Condioner, & Sealed Ends.

So being Happily married I did not do anything on the Ivy Date site.

And my wonderful hubby decided he was gonna drink the Dream Water one night while i was already sleeping. But according to him it tasted somewhat like an energy drink. Sadly he said it did not help him relax and try to sleep.

The Kiss everEZlashes are a steal at just 3.99! Personally the strings just got in my way when trying to remove them I pulled up the edge of the lash a bit and had to readjust it. However they did look amazing! The glue held well all day and they blended in with my lashes well as you can see...

The Rescue Gum was actually quite good. It had a orange and floral flavor I quite liked. It did seem to relieve my stress.

And the Schwarzkopf Professionals BC Repair Rescue set I loved!
It left my hair feeling light as a feather! The full set is a bit pricey. Also both the shampoo and conditioner where a bit runny for my taste. But if it works like that I could care less about the consistency LOL. I was a bit bummed the shampoo is much larger than the conditioner cause with my long think hair I need a ton of it. The Sealed Ends treatment had a nice lotion quality to it and did not weigh my hair down at all. The full set left my hair shiny and overall much healthier looking. It cut down on breakage as well!

Nothing but nails....

I am too lazy tonight to do individual posts so you get one big one LMAO!!
This is one my girl Abstract turned me on too. It is Creeper by Daring Digits. The color is just awesome but it is slightly transparent. I am wearing 4 coats here.
Next is NARS Endless Night from the 2011 Holiday Line. It is a nice dark Burgundy color. Here it looks kinda light in spots but I didnt notice until I saw the pic. On it looked nice & Dark ;)
Ok so this is the OPI Pink Of Hearts set for 2012. The colors really aren't my cup of tea but hey...For a good cause right! A Portion of the proceeds go to Breast Cancer Research. The light pink is 2 coats of I Think In Pink then I used one coat of the You Glitter Be Good To Me.
Finally my favorite combo I have wore recently.
I Used 2 Coats of MAC Polish in Steamy which is a vibrant hot pink color with just a tiny bit of an orange undertone to tone it down. Over that I used one coat of Pretty & Polished Punk'd Up Beatty. I am so in love with this top coat! It has Black and pink matte microfine glitter, Small Black & Hot Pink Hexes, And just a few HUGE Silver hexes. Plus it came off relatively easy!
