Julep It Girl Maven box Feb. 2013

Ok so again I am sorry for posting this late but I just didn't use these colors right away.
The gifts where an awesome Portable Eyelash Curler. This thing gives perfect lashes every time! And who doesn't love chocolates!! There where 2 milk chocolate hearts in the package. And now for the polishes....

First one I tried was Marion. I LOVED this Teal polish! It definitely leans more to the blue side but the color was fab! However it was a seriously thick polish and it caused some issues trying to apply and with dry time. I actually got almost full coverage from just one coat though I ended up using 2 just to get the conformity.

Next up is Joan.It is a dark pinkish color with a super fine gold glitter. I used 2 coats.

Then I have Rebel. It is a super pale silver almost to the point of being white. It also has a bit of a holographic effect in the light.

Now the really bad part...I tried the freedom Top Coat over this polish and HATED it...It kinda Separated the already dry polish on my nails and did not make the mani last longer. Here is what it looked like just a minute after adding the top coat...Notice the pinky....

Tini Beauty Polishes Take 1...

So I been trying out this new company that shall remain nameless for now. I had $100 dollars in credit from them and their service is soooo terrible I wanted to use it all up and get outta there. Sooooo I ordered a buttload of new polishes!! Here are some of the swatches...I will post the swatches of the Champagne Brunch mini collection in a week or so once I wear em all :)

First up we have Cherry Brandy. Not my usual kinda color but hey. I did have to use 3 coats of this polish to get full coverage but it went on beautifully.
I topped it with Sparkler. This awesome top coat has green and silver fine glitter and small fuchsia dot glitter. I only used one coat and got the coverage I desired.

Next up is Voodoo. This is an awesome shade! It is kinda like a mix of hot pink and a bright purple. Just 2 coats on this one. My tips didnt start chipping for like 2 days.

Finally we have Bordeaux. This is a stunning wine red color. It went on incredibly smooth and even and had full coverage in 2 coats. Over it I tried the Nailtini Dry Martini drying spray and it was above and beyond my expectations. My nails where dry in like 2 minutes flat. And I do mean dry not just dry to the touch. As much as I tried I didnt get any sort of imprints on my nails after about 2 minutes.

Ipsy Bag March 2013

As Promised here is my review and looks from this month's Ipsy Bag
So Unfortunately I am only gonna really use part of this bag this month but hey it is always work the $10 for one thing or another. This month I got a super cute nautical theme striped bag with all over anchor print. There is a Juice Beauty face spray. I don't tend to use stuff like this much but it does have a pleasant scent. It worked well as a quick cool down after my workout each day. Next there is a Glam RX magnetic Palette. I am loving this bad boy! I wish I could use any shadows in this but it seems only certain ones stick well. There was a travel pack of LA Fresh Makeup wipes. I adore makeup wipes always and these work AMAZING! No bad scent and they glide over and remove makeup like a breeze. They may be my new go-to! Finally There where 2 Yaby magnetic Shadows in You're So Vein (Green) & Sand (tan). You're So Vein is and awesome teal green color I am in love with. The Sand Color is a great neutral. Both Stay put in the Glam RX palette perfectly.

Here are my looks with the shadows...
I Used Urban Decay Primer Potion, Yaby Shadow in You're So Vein, The Sephora/Pantone Universe Shades Of Nature Palette in Shimmery pastel Green, Kat Von D Autograph pencil in Eyegasm & Mag Haute & Naught Mascara.

For this look I used Urban Decay Primer Potion, Yaby Eyeshadow in Sand, Coastal Scents Shadow in Gunmetal, Urban Decay Shadow in Polyester Bride, Cailyn Gel Eyeliner, Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on liner in Zero, & Mac Haute & Naughty mascara.

February Ipsy bag...

So here is was I got in this bag from Ipsy: (I Know I Know I am late but promise as soon as I get my march bag I will post it LOL.)

So There was mascara from POP Beauty. I wasnt a big fan cause it was a bit runny. It did wear well but I prefer my MAC Haute & Naughty.

Pixi Flawless & Poreless. I had high hopes for this cause I have been looking for a cheaper substitute for the Benefit Porefessional but it just wasn't what I was looking for. The coverage was ok but it didn't have the silky finish I was looking for. It also has a slight cosmetic smell I didn't care for.

Mica Beauty Gel Eyeliner. This didn't come with a brush but I had plenty laying around. It glides on smooth and wears well all night.

Coastal Scents Eye shadows. These weren't really my kind of colors but they are a good formula. My fav was the one top right. It is a black base with a copper colored shimmer.

There where Lash Cards that I swear are standard in most beauty bags. I really want to like them but I cant. Just stop sending em LOL.

And the bag itself I personally love. You can never go wrong with shiny black Vinyl ;)

Here is my look....

More Zoya Zaniness...

Got a few more Zoya Polishes for you today and I can say I am soooooo in love!

First up is Blaze. It is a fabbie dark Magenta color with super fine glitter. Best part is this baby glides on like any other quality gloss polish. So no stubborn glitter sticking to my nails when I try and remove it!! Even in this Florida Humidity it dried quick. I used 2 coats of polish with no top coat. No chips or issues for over a week! I am thinking I need to buy the rest of this line!!

Next up is Noel. It is a Bright blue with a chrome kind of finish. I did like the color however it dried lighter than I thought it would on my nails and I don't think it was the right shade for me. I used 3 coats of the polish with no top coat.

Finally this one is Aurora. This is the same line as the Blaze polish. But seriously....Does it not look like a birthday party on my nails!! So in love!!
