Urban Decay haul featuring the Electric palette....Quite possibly my fav palette EVER!!

Ok yea....I know I am WAAAAY behind on this one but here is the deal....I have a ton of different older UD palettes and I always love them in store. I still love them when I get home they are just not go to's like I expected them to be. So for that reason I held off picking the Electric palette up. Well before the holiday UD's website had a promo card they sent with every order. So when my card was revealed I had won $50 for the site and I know what I had to do...It was like fate right LOL.
So before I gush and show you the bajillion looks I did within like a week of getting this palette lemme show you the haul the card came with and this one....
So this was my before xmas haul...Just the travel pencil set (I could live and die by these liners) and Nail polish in the shade Zodiac....

This was 2 coats and I swear the color was no way as sheer in person!
ANYWAY....
This is the palette...
I also grabbed the 24/7 liquid liner in RetroGrade which is a sparkly purple :)

So yeah....THESE COLORS ARE AMAZING!!! Super pigmented and loads of sparkle!! I love them! The shades compliment each other beautifully as well. A few shades did have a tendency to stain but I could really care less. I used makeup wipes before bed and by morning I couldnt see it anymore ;) Also the brush is super soft but it also gets stained quite fast with these shadows.

And just some of the many ways I wore this so far....

Revolt, Jilted, Urban, Gonzo, Freak, & Thrash.

This one is Revolt, Savage, Jilted, & Fringe...I also used the retrograde liner over a black liner for this look.

Revolt, Freak, Gonzo, & Jilted

Revolt, Chaos, & Gonzo

This one was Revolt, Jilted, Urban, & Fringe.

So this last look was just kinda fun...I have this awesome carnival themed shirt from American Horror Story: Freakshow and the colors matched it exactly!!

I Used Revolt, Thrash, Slow Burn, & Chaos.

Which look is your favorite? Do you have a favorite palette from UD?

Random Makeup post featuring MAC Heroine...

So I am slowly trying to catch up on a few posts I wanted to put up for all you dolls. A couple weeks ago I went out to Tampa and brought back a nice little haul...
I got a Bare Minerals Lipstick in Rebel (Free gift from Sephora)
Sephora Liquid Eyeliner in Dying For Shoes. It's a bronzy burgundy color ($12).
The Make Up Forever Birthday gift for this year which is a red lipstick and black mascara (Free gift)
MAC Lip Pencil in Magenta. It's a vivid Pinkinsh-Purple ($15)
And my long desired MAC Heroine Lipstick. It's a matte bright purple. ($16)

Here is a look I did using just a couple of these items...

I used Urban Decay Primer potion, Urban Decay shadow in Cherry and Polyester Bride, Ulta eyeshadow in Flirty for the crease, Bombshell Cosmetics liquid Liner in Onyx, The Sephora liner in Dying For shoes & Urban Decay Big Fatty Mascara.
Seriously is that liner not to die for!!

And the pop for this look...MAC Heroine Lipstick over MAC Magenta Lip liner.
So I have never really been much for wearing a lippie but this look wore amazing! First night I wore it to the movies and had snacks and it did not budge. The next day I put it on in the AM and wore it all day without reapplying. It wasnt quite as vivid by the time I got home but after eating twice, working, and doing housework it still looked good!

April Ipsy Bag...

 This months Ispy Bag ROCKS!!
The bag its self was a super cool blue bag with a record on it. In the bag was Big Sexy Hair Volumizing Spray Mousse, Dr. Brant Microdermabrasion, Rainbow Honey polish in Midnight Fountain, Mary Kay At Play Jelly Lip Gloss in Berry Me, And Urban Decay 24/7 Velvet Glide on Pencil in Black Velvet.

Being the Urban Decay Junkie I am I was super stoked on the liner. It is a nice matte SUPER black liner. I started my look with Urabn Decay Primer Potion. I used urban Decay shadow in Desperation for the outside corner of my eye and Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow in Moon spoon for the rest of my lid. (Side note...I love the color of this shadow but it did not really pack the sparkle as it is advertised.) The 2 shadows do pair perfect together. I also used Urban Decay Polyester Bride as my highlight. The Black Velvet pencil blended beautifully! I finished the look with Urban Decay Big Fatty Mascara.

Next pic is of The berry Me Lip Gloss. It has just a hint of color and loads of shine.
Finally the Rainbow Honey polish is a stunner! The fist pic is just one coat as I thought it was quite pretty as a sheer polish. 2nd pic is 2 coats and as you can see it is full coverage and packed with loads of glitter!

The Chequered Lily shadow swatches and review...

OMG....I have an amazing indie Company to share with you today called The Chequered Lily. I picked up the super cheap 5 pack of samples for only $4. The shipping was really fair too which is sometimes a bit pricey on Etsy.

This company is primarily vegan too! And I adore that each product does state if it is lip safe. Standard size shadows are $6.50 and Glitter Blend Shadows are $7. (Sadly I did not pick up any of those but I will very soon!) Lip Balms are $3.50-$3.75. And she has full size blush for $13. My order shipped lightening fast and the owner is a pleasure to work with!! Anyway...enough of this blah blah blah and on to the good stuff LOL.

So here are the beautiful shadows I got. I bought the 5 pack of samples and received a total of 8!!! All colors were swatched over Urban Decay Primer Potion.

I got the following colors:
 December
December is a blackened navy blue with teal and bronze glitter.
 Black Valentine
Velvety dark black with loads of ruby and scarlet glitter.I really don't think I was able to do this amazing shadow justice :(
The Black Pearl
Super sparkly blackened silver with silver reflect and holographic glitter.
 The Labyrinth
Ok so I hadda get this one based on the name alone!!  Muddy Deep Violet-Brown with Blue and Aqua Sparkle. And I totally have to share the info from the site for this...I just love it!!

“A passageway ran across the entrance. It was so narrow, and the wall was so high, that the sky was a mere slit over her head. In the gloom, she heard the continual drip of water, echoing. She approached the farther wall, touched it, and pulled her hand away. It was dank and slimy, like mildew.” -A.C.H. Smith, Labyrinth (A Novel Based on the Jim Henson Film). Though the Labyrith has many incarnations throughout the film, it was the gate and perimeter walls that stuck with me most: impossibly tall walls of crumbly dark brickwork, patches of blue and brown-eyed lichen, the bluish sheen of moisture and the darkly glittering corners infested with adorable blue worms.
 Snake Charmer
Blackened Green with Intense Green Shimmer and Green-Gold Sparkle.

Hearts In Ice
Royal blue with subtle violet undertone and intense red iridescence.

Cast No Reflection
Shimmery Blackened Silver With Pale Gold & Silver Sparkle

Monster's Bride
Plush Olive Green/Antique Gold Duochrome With Gold Sparkle
