Disney-Inspired shadows from Star Crushed Minerals

Back again with a fun find from a couple weeks ago. The Indie Company Star Crushed Minerals just open their new website and I couldnt be more ecstatic!! I have bought from them in the past and they are always amazing!! I know I have to check out the new site and I decided I had to have the entire princess collection, most of the Frozen shadows, One from Oz, And even picked up a Callow Lily inspired shadow. (If you havent seen her art be sure to check her out HERE!!Something I love about this shop is the fact you can choose your size. I have a ridonkulous amount of mineral shadows so I like to stick with the tiny sized one at .5g. You can also get 1g or even 2.5g. Prices range from $2.50-$10.00 and all sizes come in a cosmetic container instead of a baggie which I adore. Shipping is crazy cheap too!! I only paid $3.50 for all the shadows I got!!
So here is the package...Gotta show you cause they are always packaged so cute!! Plus she sends candy LMAO!!
And here they all are...
First lets look at the Callow Lily shadow...
This is Vampirate.
From the site: True red with purple interference and sparkle.
Honestly I see a bit more Pinkinsh tones but this is really stunning!!

Now I am sure most of you know by now Disney had an obsession with Wizard Of Oz so to me this screams Disney too :)
 This is Emerald City.
True green with loads of purple, orange, gold shimmer.

Next up are the Frozen collection shadows...
 First up is Olaf.
From the site: Olaf is bright white with silver and gold sparkle a soft orange interference (had to represent that adorable carrot nose)!
Basically this is a perfect shimmer white to me. I used it in most of my looks as a brow and corner highlight.

I also picked up Queen Elsa.
A frosty blue with silver metallic interference and loads of sparkle.
This went on just a tad lighter than expected but I still love it!!

Finally we have our Princesses!!

This is
Ariel.

Deep teal with red sparkle and interference.
I love this shadow...It makes me feel just like I am a mermaid!!

 Then there is sweet Aurora.
Soft bright pink with silver sparkles and interference.
This is a gorgeous super pale shade of pink. Without primer  it is light enough to use as a stunning highlight!

The ball would just not be complete without Cinderella.
Bright baby blue with silver interference.
Seriously this shadow is basically Queen Elsa's more pigmented big sister LOL.

The biggest surprise for me was Mulan.
Deep pink with silver interference and silver sparkles throughout.
This was quite possibly the most flattering pink I have ever owned!!

 Then there is Rapunzel.
Soft lavender with orange gold interference.
This color is stunning but on my pale skin it just didnt really show up well without primer.

Finally the newest princess in this specific collection is Tiana.
Yellow green with gold sparkles and interference
This color goes on very soft alone or packs a punch when worn with primer.

Ready to see some looks!!
This first look was instantly a favorite of mine. I used  Aurora, Vampirate, & Mulan. The first 2 pics are without primer...the second are with Star Crushed Minerals Primer. As you can see the color was fantastic either way but I think the primer helped bring out some of the gorgeous shimmer in the shadows.

This one is Tiana, Emerald city, & Olaf...

This one is Olaf, Cinderella, & Ariel

Olaf, Rapunzel, Cinderella, & Ariel

 Olaf, Queen Elsa, & Rapunel

This last one was my favorite look. I did start with Star Crushed Minerals Primer. I used Olaf, Aurora, Rapunzel, Queen Elsa, & Ariel. The look was finished with Urban Decay liquid Liner in Retrograde and Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on liner in Ether. My Mascara was MAC zoom flash. I got so many compliments on this look!! My co worker even said I was a mermaid :P

So which colors is your favorite? Was you favorite Disney princess included? Which princess would you like to see represented?

Wicked Indie shadows from The Chequered Lily...

Time for another Wicked Indie eye shadow post. These great shadows are from a favorite shop of mine called The Chequered Lily. The shop is closed now but will reopen at the beginning of April if not before. And you can always message her as she is great with communication!!
I want to show you today some of the amazing products from her Vampiric Vignettes line. Originally released for Halloween 2014 this line is still available and I know my little goth ghoulies will adore it! I opted for the Sample pack as well as a glitter sample. For the 2 together I paid just a tad over $10. Of course all the items can be bought as full size but I just wanted to see what I liked best first.

So here are the swatches of the products I got....
So left to right we have Silent As Snow, Form Of Mist, Memento Mori, Bloodflower, Haunted. The large gray is The Sinking Ship Blush. Then at the bottom the glitter blends in Wicked Jack & Nightchilde.
My favorites by far of this collection (And most anything LOL) Are the reds!!

So color pairing are kinda simple with this collection. All go together perfect but if you don't want to put on each color I have a few looks that I did based on perfect complimentary colors...
Look #1...

No primer for this look. I used Silent As Snow, Haunted, & Form of Mist. I also used Urban Decay Retrograde liquid Liner on my top lid and Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on liner in Vice on the bottom. The look was finished with MAC zoom flash mascara.
For look 2...

I used Silent As Snow, Memento Mori, & Bloodflower. I mixed the Night Childe glitter blend with my Elizabeth Mott You're So Fine liquid liner for just a bit of sparkle. I used Starlooks liner in Obsidian on my waterline and MAC Zoom Flash Mascara on my top lashes only.
Finally my favorite look and the look I am wearing today....

For this look I used:
Silent as snow at my brow and tear ducts, Under that is Form Of Mist. In the crease is Memento Mori and on my lid is Bloodflower. Then I used my new MAC Cinderella eye glass at my brow bone and in just the center of my eyelid. I then patted on the NightChilde Glitter blend. Beware MAC eye glass is super sticky feeling but it was perfect for the glitter. I finished with Elizabeth Mott You're So Fine liner, MAC Zoom Flash Mascara, & Starlooks liner in obsidian.

So which look is your favorite? Do you like cosmetic glitters or think they are only for teens??

Disney Inspired nail polishes from Black Cat Lacquer...

Ok so as a self confessed DIS-Nerd I have a few Disney inspired polishes to show off real quick. Both of these come from Black Cat Lacquer. Her line consists of fun sparkly polishes. Some or just glitter top coats and some are opaque. Most polishes are inspired but something be is music, Astrological signs, Or best of all DISNEY!! There is a full line inspired by Maleficent. She also has some amazing glitters perfect for Halloween inspired by Pirates, Haunted Mansion, & Everyone's favorite Pumpkin King. Polishes range from $9-$13 for a 15ml bottle!! All polishes are 5 free too! Shipping for the first polish is $3.50 stateside and it seems $1.00 a bottle after. You can also get custom polishes starting at $13!! I got a request in for one now so hopefully I hear back soon :P
Anyway...On to the polish!
The first one I have for you is called Mistress Of All Evil. Of course it was inspired by my all time favorite villain so I had to have it.  This is a dark green jelly type base filled with both small and fine green and purple glitter. There is definitely more green in this polish but the purple adds a great dimension.

Second I have a super fun glitter coat called Oh Mickey You're So Fine. This super glitter bomb has a rainbow base and is filled with colors based on classic Mickey. (Plus the name is super fun if you were a child of the 80's LOL) It is filled with red, black, Yellow, & Silver holo glitters!! And best of all are the amazing silver mickey heads!! They do stick in the bottle a bit but just grab one on the end of your brush or a toothpick and they will stay on your nail for quite some time :P

These bad boys will be sure to adorn my nails on our next trip to the parks in October...Though they will probably make it there before then too LOL. I think since I am going as a mansion maid this year I just may have to pick up 999 Happy haunts before then too!!
